Oil prices look a touch softer on Monday morning after concerns about the supply overhang and weak demand had led to profit-taking from players, an analyst said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 79.05/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.34 on Friday's close.
On Friday, the Brent contract lost USD 0.89 to settle at USD 79.39/bbl, while on Nymex the WTI April contract shed USD 0.87 to USD 81.24/bbl.
