Oil prices are softening on Thursday morning on the back of profit-taking after they rose to a 15-month high in the previous session, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 81.29/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.60 on Wednesday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI February contract was last seen at USD 82.66/bbl, down USD 0.52 on previous close.
On Wednesday, the Brent front month rose USD 1.30 to settle at SUD 81.89/b
