Oil prices are softening on Monday morning but should rise towards USD 75/bbl in the near term on technical signals and positive economic news, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands USD 0.68 below Friday's close at USD 67.66/bbl on the ICE platform. In New York, the July WTI contract last traded down USD 0.80 at USD 67.64/bbl.
