Oil prices are softening on Friday morning after the dollar strengthened against the euro following an upward revision of Greece's fiscal deficit, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.42 at USD 85.25/bbl, while the WTI June contract traded USD 0.25 lower at USD 83.45/bbl.
On Thursday, both the Brent and WTI contracts started out on a weak note but ended the day more or less flat compared with the previous session.
