Oil prices looked softer again Monday morning despite vows by global leaders to take joint action in order to support the global economy.
The front-month contract for Brent crude oil was seen changing hands at USD 53.76/barrel, which was 48 cents lower than Friday's close.Prices softened also last week, with the Brent contract closing Friday's session at USD 57.04/bbl, down USD 1.20 on Thursday. In New York , the WTI contract closed Friday's session at USD 54.24/bbl, a loss of USD 2 on the previous session.
