Brent crude prices are down USD 5 week on week - at their lowest levels since December - on Friday morning after US crude inventories hit their highest level in 22 years.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 101.82/bbl on the Ice platform, down USD 0.05 on Thursday's close. By comparison, it settled at USD 106.83/bbl last Friday.
On Nymex, the WTI front month contract was last seen at USD 86.43/bbl, down USD 0.10 day on day.
