Oil prices are retreating on Wednesday as the dollar firms against the euro while the American Petroleum Institute reported an increase in crude stocks which the EIA is expected to echo later, players said.
The front month Brent North Sea oil contract was last seen USD 0.48 softer at USD 83.18/bbl, while WTI on Nymex went through last USD 0.48 lower at USD 82.08/bbl.
After the market closed on Tuesday, the American Petroleum Institute reported a "huge” 6.43m bbl increase in crude stocks, while analysts are looking for the EIA report to show a 1m b
