Oil is trading close to the seven-week highs recorded in the previous session on Thursday morning on the back of a weekly decline in crude inventories and a weaker dollar, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen traded USD 0.10 softer day on day at USD 80.67/bbl, while the WTI contract on Nymex went through last at USD 77.68/bbl, USD 0.18 lower day on day.
On Wednesday, the Brent contract ended the session USD 2.08 higher day on day at USD 80.77/bbl while its WTI counterpart closed USD 1.68 higher
