Oil prices are trading sideways on Wednesday morning as the market's focus turns towards the publication of US crude stock figures later in the day, players said.
In London, the front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 49.93/bbl, up USD 0.11 on Tuesday's close.
The contract had traded in a USD 49.82-USD 50.11/bbl range to press time. Crude inventory data published by the American Petroleum Institute (API) late on Tuesday revealed a decline of 1.01m barrels to 370m in the week ended 17 Apr
