Oil market sentiment is bearish amid easing tensions in the Middle East and expectations of a rise in US crude stocks, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 99.37/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.12 on Monday's close, but the WTI March contract on Nymex last traded USD 0.04 lower at USD 87.44/bbl.
"Oil supplies remain secured despite the unrest in Egypt,” said Phillip Futures analysts in a note.
