Oil prices have gained on Thursday morning after the release of lower than expected weekly inventory levels in the US pushed prices higher late on Wednesday, players said.
Brent North Sea crude oil for delivery in April last changed hands up USD 0.14 at USD 44.43/bbl on the ICE platform. On Wednesday, the contract ended the day USD 1.79 higher at USD 44.29/bbl after having touched a low of USD 41.85/bbl.
