Commodities - Oil rises on lower than expected US stocks

Oil prices have gained on Thursday morning after the release of lower than expected weekly inventory levels in the US pushed prices higher late on Wednesday, players said.
Brent North Sea crude oil for delivery in April last changed hands up USD 0.14 at USD 44.43/bbl on the ICE platform. On Wednesday, the contract ended the day USD 1.79 higher at USD 44.29/bbl after having touched a low of USD 41.85/bbl. In New York, the WTI front month contract was last seen up USD 0.14 on the previous close at USD 42.64/bbl following a gain of USD 2.54 in the W
