Oil prices are rising on Monday morning as Chinese crude imports rose last month and the dollar has weakened against the euro after European governments offered indebted Greece a rescue package, one player said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands up USD 0.48 at USD 85.31/bbl on the ICE platform, while the WTI May contract on Nymex last traded USD 0.35 higher at USD 85.27/bbl.
On Friday, the Brent contract closed USD 0.02 higher at USD 84.83/bbl, following trades in a USD 83.95-85.94/bbl range, while the WTI contract shed USD 0.47 to end t
