Oil prices are rising on Friday morning amid evidence that oil demand in emerging countries is increasing, said an analyst.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 60.49/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.56 on Thursday's close. In New York, July WTI last traded up USD 0.51 at USD 61.56/bbl.
