Oil prices are gaining on Monday amid supply fears following the shutdown of 95% of Alaska's North Slope oil production, which could affect up to 15% of US oil production, players said.
The news lifted the front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil for the first time in three days, it last trading USD 0.57 higher at USD 93.90/bbl.
WTI on Nymex, meanwhile, went through last USD 0.95 higher at USD 88.98/bbl.
