Oil prices are rising on Wednesday amid escalating violence in Libya and continued concerns the unrest could spill into neighbouring countries, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 115.90/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.48 on Tuesday's close, while the WTI April contract on Nymex again broke through the USD 100/bbl barrier, trading USD 0.73 higher at USD 100.36/bbl.
