Crude oil trades higher on signs of colder weather in the U.S, which should lead to higher heating fuel demand. Meanwhile, carbon allowances fell in value ahead of the EC decision on 11 allocation plans today.
Crude oil for January delivery rose 67 cents to USD 60.99, after touching USD 61.20 earlier in the session.
