Oil prices are rising on Thursday on the back of a lower-than-expected rise in US crude stocks and renewed concerns about the situation in Egypt, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 101.98/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.16 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI March contract on Nymex traded USD 0.24 higher at USD 86.95/bbl.
