Oil prices are continuing to rise on Monday morning after gaining strength before the weekend despite disappointing US employment data, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands up USD 0.50 at USD 91.92/bbl, while the WTI January contract on Nymex traded USD 0.39 higher at USD 89.58/bbl.
On Friday, the Brent contract closed up USD 0.73 at USD 91.42/bbl, following trades in a USD 90.10-91.85/bbl range, while the contract in New York gained USD 1.19 to finish at USD 89.19/
