Oil prices are retreating amid a stronger dollar on Thursday morning after gains in the previous session, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.16 at USD 77.93/bbl on the ICE platform, while WTI April on Nymex traded USD 0.43 lower at USD 79.57/bbl.
On Wednesday, the Brent contract closed up USD 0.84 at USD 78.09/bbl, following trades in a USD 76.63-78.50/bbl range, while the contract on New York gained USD 1.14 to end the day
