Commodities – Oil remains soft

Despite that Opec last Thursday agreed to cut oil production by 1.2 million barrels a day, crude oil markets ended the week in a soft sentiment.
In London, the December Brent contract edged south (-1.19) to settle at USD 59.68/bbl. The contract traded within a two dollar range on Friday, with an intraday high at 61.55 and a low of 59.55.In New York , the November contract expired at the end of Friday’s trading session and saw major volatility on its last trading day.
