Oil prices are tentatively recovering on Thursday following a 6% plunge in the previous session for European benchmark Brent triggered by easing supply concerns and persisting economic gloom.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 113.97/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.96 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI July contract on Nymex traded USD 0.45 higher at USD 95.26/bbl.
