Oil prices are recovering slightly on Tuesday morning following late losses in the previous trading session due to weakness in stock markets and fading post-G20 optimism, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 52.40/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.16 on the previous close.
On Monday, the Brent contract ended the day down USD 1.23 at USD 52.24/bbl following trades in a USD 51.15-54.31/bbl spread, while the WTI May contract in New York closed USD 1.46 lower at USD 51.05/bbl.
