Oil prices have gained more than seven dollars in New York over the last two weeks, and are resuming the uptrend this morning after a slight downward correction on Friday.
The contract was up USD 3,73 week on week and USD 7.39 compared to two weeks ago.Threats by the Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to cut off supplies to theUS sent a strong bullish signal to the oil market last week.
