Commodities - oil recovers from early losses

Prices for crude oil gained strength Thursday compared with the previous session after recovering from early signs of weakness.
In London, the front-month contract for Brent crude closed the session at USD 136.09/barrel, a gain of USD 1.07 compared with the previous close.The contract opened the session at USD 135/bbl, before hitting a session-high and low of USD 136.80/bbl and USD 131.35/bbl respectively. In New York, WTI prices for light sweet crude oil moved up by 36 cents day-on-day to close at USD 1
