Oil prices are tentatively recovering on Thursday following a slump of more than 5% in the previous session, due largely to an unexpected rise in US gasoline and crude stocks.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 113.50/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.93 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI June contract on Nymex traded USD 1.11 higher at USD 99.32/bbl.
