Oil prices are correcting up on Friday morning after plunging more than USD 3 in the previous session, largely as a consequence of poor US housing data, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 65.43/bbl on the ICE platform, USD 0.61 above the previous close. On Nymex, the WTI November contract last traded up USD 0.65 at USD 66.54/bbl.
On Thursday, the Brent contract closed down USD 3.17 at USD 64.82/bbl on the ICE platform following trades in a USD 64.58-67.98/bbl range, while the
