Oil prices have bounced back on Monday morning following losses late on Friday after several European countries saw their credit rating downgraded, although the decline remain limited as geopolitical tensions offset EU bearishness.
The front month contract for Brent crude North Sea oil was last traded at USD 111.19/bbl, up USD 0.75 on Friday's close, on the Ice exchange.
On Nymex, the February WTI crude contract last changed hands at USD 99.04/bbl, USD 0.34 higher than the previous close.
On Friday, Brent closed down USD 0.82 day
