Oil prices are rising on Tuesday after players "overreacted” to bearish eurozone sentiment in the previous session, and amid optimism for Italy's struggling economy.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 112.77/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.52 on Monday's close, while the WTI October contract on Nymex traded USD 0.81 higher at USD 89/bbl.
"Oil is simply rebounding from the rather aggressive sales [on Monday],” Victor Shum, oil analyst with Purvin & Gertz in Singapore, told M
