Commodities - Oil reacts to weak dollar

After a downward development over the past week, oil prices took a turn north on Monday. Coal and carbon also strengthened wile gas fell amid mild temperatures.
In London, the front month Brent crude contract gained 1.85 to settle at USD 92.92/barrel while the corresponding WTI contract in New York gained 1.51 to finish the day at USD 94.20/barrel.Players attributed the strong rise to a weaker US dollar, colder weather in the US northeast, supply disruptions in Nigeria and renewed political uncertainty over Iran following confrontational stateme
