Oil prices are hovering around the USD 42/bbl mark on Tuesday on the back of more grim economic news from the US, which led to tumbling stock markets, players said.
Oil prices weaken on grim US economic outlookThe front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 42.19/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.02 on Monday's close.
The contract has traded in a USD 41.60-42.56/bbl range so far.
