Oil prices are trading USD 2 higher on Monday compared with the previous close after EU finance ministers agreed on an EUR 500bn emergency package to ensure economic stability in the eurozone, analysts said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 80.49/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 2.22 on Friday's close.
