Commodities - Oil prices soften

Brent prices opened the session slightly stronger on Wednesday morning, but later dropped to trade below Tuesday's close.
The front-month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil on the ICE platform was last seen changing hands 60 cents below the previous close at USD 43.02/bbl after having hit USD 43.90/bbl earlier in the session. On Tuesday, the contract ended the day USD 0.88 lower than the previous close at USD 43.62/bbl, while the March WTI contract for light sweet crude oil lost USD 1.73 to set
