Oil prices are softening on Tuesday morning following a boost triggered by stronger equity markets in the previous session, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.11 at USD 79.21/bbl on the ICE platform, while the WTI October contract on Nymex - which expires at the end of the current session - traded USD 0.63 lower at USD 74.23/bbl.
