Oil prices are falling a touch on Tuesday morning, after Monday's gains largely on the back of tension in the Middle East, said market players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 40.20/bbl on the ICE platform, down 35 cents on Monday's close.
The February Brent contract settled up USD 2.18 at USD 40.55/bbl on Ice on Monday, while in New York the WTI front month settled at USD 40.02/bbl, up USD 2.31 from the previous close.
