Oil prices have continued to fall on Friday morning, with the WTI January contract dropping more than USD 3 since Wednesday, following a resurgence in the dollar and news of debt repayment issues in Dubai, said an analyst.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 75.65/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 1.34 on Thursday's close, when the contract lost USD 1.45.
On Nymex, the WTI January contract was last seen at USD 74.66/bbl, down USD 3.30 on Wednesday's close, with no close reported for Thursday due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the US.
