Crude oil prices are firming on Monday morning with the continuing conflict on the Gaza Strip fuelling nervousness on the market.
The Brent North Sea crude oil contract for February delivery was last heard trading at USD 47.81/bbl, up 90 cents on Friday's settlement price on the ICE platform. The Nymex WTI front month was last seen USD 1.42 stronger at USD 47.76/bbl. The Brent front month settled on Friday at USD 46.91/bbl, a gain of USD 1.32 on the New Year's Eve close, while the Nymex WTI settled at USD
