Oil prices are edging lower on Wednesday morning after seeing a sharp rise in the previous session on the back of a bullish report from a major US investment bank.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 111.76/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.77 on Tuesday's close.
The industry group American Petroleum Institute (API) reported that US crude oil inventories fell 860,000 bbl, distillate stockpiles fell 846,000 bbl and gasoline stocks rose 2.4m bbl last week.
