Brent crude oil prices are trading flat on Tuesday morning after rising nearly USD 2 in the previous session on a weaker US dollar, "end of month positioning” and better than expected economic data, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 81.50/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.33 on Monday's close.
On Monday, the contract rose USD 1.88 to settle at USD 81.17/bbl, while in New York the May WTI contract gained USD 2.17 to USD 82.17/bbl.
