Oil prices continued down on Friday morning, with players saying they do not expect Saturday's Opec meeting to have a significant effect on the market.
The ICE Brent January contract las traded at USD 52.96/bbl this morning, down 0.17 from Thursday's close of USD 53.13/bbl. In New York, the Nymex WTI front month contract dropped to USD 53.45/bbl, down 0.99 from the previous close.
