While short end oil prices continued to break records on Tuesday, contracts at the far end of the curve strengthened even more as investors expect demand to outdo supply.
In New York, the WTI July crude contract ended the day up USD 2.26 at USD 128.98/barrel after having touched an intraday peak of USD 129.27/barrel. The Brent contract for July delivery in London closed the day USD 2.78 higher than the previous day at USD 127.84/barrel following a session high of USD 128.07/barrel.
