Oil prices are falling back on Tuesday morning after strong gains late on Monday as hopes of an economic recovery lifted equity markets, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 54.25/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.33 on Monday's close. In New York, the WTI June contract was last seen trading down USD 0.44 at USD 54.03/bbl on Nymex.
