In London, the April contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen traded at USD 46/bbl, down just 3 cents on the previous settlement.
The April contract for Brent crude is trading around USD 46/bbl on Friday morning as the market is awaiting the outcome of the US stimulus package.
The March contract ended Thursday's session 37 cents stronger than the previous at USD 44.65/bbl while the front month contract for WTI light sweet crude oil lost USD 1.96 at USD 33.98/bbl.
