Oil prices are strengthening further on Monday morning as the economic outlook brightens on the back of rising equities, while the dollar continues to weaken, and could be set to test June highs, analysts said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.29/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.59 on Friday's close. In New York, the front month contract for light sweet crude oil last seen traded up USD 0.76 at USD 70.21/bbl.
