Oil prices continued north Thursday, and players fear that crude oil may climb past USD 70 for the first time in four months.
Supply worries are still dominating the oil market. Crude oil has jumped USD 2.91, or 4.6 per cent, to USD 66.83 a barrel during this week on the Nymex. Futures touched USD 67.11 Thursday, the highest intraday price since September 29, Bloomberg reports. IPE February Brent added 32 cents at USD 64.51, while March settled at 65.23. This morning, prices are strengthening further at the ICE.
