Oil is trading at a nine-month high on Monday morning following news that Iran has halted oil exports to British and French companies in retaliation to EU sanctions, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands up USD 1.07 at USD 120.65/bbl on the Ice platform and continued to trade above longer-dated contracts while WTI on Nymex went through last USD 1.70 higher day on day at USD 105.30/bbl.
