Oil prices are trading at over 6-week lows in early Thursday trading following an unexpected surge in US crude stocks and "disappointing” Chinese manufacturing data.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 108.08/bbl on the Ice platform, down USD 0.11 on Wednesday's close and its lowest level since 6 August, while the WTI October contract on Nymex traded USD 0.98 lower at USD 91/bbl.
