Commodities - Oil gains on new hurricane concerns

Oil prices jumped yesterday as Wilma, the 21st named Atlantic storm this season, is entering the Gulf of Mexico and raising fears about energy production in the region. Gas prices gained slightly, while the coal and carbon market only saw minor changes from Friday.
November Nymex West Texas Intermediate added 1.73 to close at USD 64.36 a barrel in New York trade. IPE Brent for December delivery gained USD 1.09 to settle at USD 60.57 a barrel in London trade. This morning, the contract is coming off, last being traded at 60.10. Six refineries are still shut along the US Gulf coast, and a substantial amount of oil and natural gas production is tempor
