Oil prices look a touch firmer on Thursday morning after rising in the previous session following political tensions between the US and Iran, said market observers.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.65/bbl, up 11 cents day on day.
On Wednesday, the contract gained 41 cents to close at USD 72.54/bbl while the WTI contract in New York rose by 77 cents to end the session at 74.52/bbl.
