Brent crude oil prices look flat on Wednesday as the market is awaiting weekly US inventories data after Tuesday's report from the American Petroleum Institute (API) showed a large increase in crude stocks, players said.
The front month contact for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 79.90/bbl, virtually unchanged from the previous day.
On Tuesday, the Brent contract shed 56 cents day on day to close at USD 79.91/bbl, while in New York the WTI front month contract lost 38 cents at USD 81.49/bbl.
