Oil prices are flattening out on Friday morning after falling heavily in the previous session on the back of poor macroeconomic data from the US and China, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.42/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.08 on Thursday's close.
On Thursday, the Brent front month lost USD 2.67 to settle at USD 72.34/bbl, while in New York the front month WTI contract shed USD 2.68 at USD 72.95/bbl.
